Starting your own business online can be a very intimidating and scary thing to do. You may tell yourself that you do not have enough time, money, or motivation to work for yourself. Other people believe that they just do not have it in them to become self employed or make money online.

There are others though that have taken the leap, and are now living their dream of working directly from home, having the flexibility to take off whenever they want, and having the income to do whatever he/she pleases. If your looking to make this dream a reality then I urge you to take the plunge. The biggest problem with people starting a new internet business is that they do to much “tweaking” and studying and not enough solid work.

I like to look at it this way, you can spend three hours studying how to build your own website or you can spend three hours building your own website. If you have absolutely no idea how to go about making your own website than I understand you taking some time to study. But if you at least have a general idea of how to do it then you need to get your feet wet! After three hours the person surfing the web will have a little bit better understanding of what to do, but he/she will not have any actual work done! The other person on the other hand could have an entire simple site built and ready to go live after these three hours.

The person who went ahead and built the website may not have done an excellent job, but we learn from trial and error, and he/she now knows what it feels like to build their own website. Now the next time when they go to build a website they will already have an idea of what to do and how to do it. I find one of the best ways to combine both study and work is to go into study mode when you find problems during your work.

For example, if you are building a website and you run into a problem with inserting an image, you can hold off on the website for a little bit to surf the web on how to insert an image. One very important rule to follow when doing this is to make sure that you don’t get distracted. You must be sure to get right back to work after you have figured out how to do it.
