know how to get them. The problem with getting backlinks to your site is that you often need to either aggressively email/Spam webmasters of other sites/blogs or you need to pay a fee to a linkbuilding service.
But first, One of the biggest problems that many people trying to make money online have today is not being able to get get site traffic. Unless you can get Google traffic to your site, you will not make much money with Adsense, it’s as simple as that. Getting your traffic from anything but a search engine will not make you much money, so forget about wasting your time with social blogs like Digg and Stumbleupon.
Making money with Adsense is a worthy cause, and if you invest enough time and effort it will eventually pay off. The key is to work smarter and not harder.
In order to get traffic from the search engines you need relevant backlink pointing to your posts. Although you’ll also need to optimize your posts in order to take advantage of the type of Adsense Ads that are shown on your site, the traffic, for the most part, depends on your links.
Many of you who spend your time chasing comment links are for the most part, wasting your time. The problem with chasing comment links is that it is both time consuming and for the most part not very rewarding, in essence, Google does not give links within comments much weight.
The type of links that you should be going after are in-post links. In-post links are links embedded into the content of the site, and this differs from a blogroll or comment link. But having links pointing to your site from the posts themselves is useless unless the other sites post is related to yours. That means that you need to make sure the linkback keyword and post on the other site is relevant to your site and/or post content.
