Business Cards Are Excellent Salesman

Sometimes being at the right place and time can do wonders for the business. This can happen in the street or in the mall and starts by just approaching a stranger. You can gain a new contact everyday with a little initiative, the person may be able to close a sale or be referred to someone who may need it. Business cards are used by people in big and small time business. It reflects who the person is. It gives people an idea of what the person is capable of doing in the event that the service one offers is needed in the future.

How many times have you met someone you meant to get together with only to forget their personal information? Not a problem when you have a personalized business card handy. Next time you are at a Starbucks and in the mood for a free latte you can drop your ‘business card’ in the fishbowl and increase your chances of winning that latte each week. Why should business owners get all the perks after all? Remember, business cards are a practical and efficient way for expanding your networks regardless of their purpose or your lifestyle.

Your business card must have something in it that would create an interest in the prospect to contact you. There are several ways to do this.

If you are going to have a photo of yourself on it make sure that it involves you holding a camera or shooting a shot. The more interesting you make the card; the longer the recipient will look at it. The more they look at it, the better the chance that they will remember you. A smiling face is nice – but boring.

Use a clear, strong logo that looks good when reduced in size on your business card.

Quality business cards are a reflection of your company. They’ll set the stage when the recipient eventually contacts you. They can make or break the image of your company, so your unique business cards should be designed carefully, with your company’s branding image in mind. Although the standard information on a business card must include your name, title, company name, address, phone numbers, e-mail and Web sites, you have the freedom to make your unique business cards entirely your own creation. Use graphics that help to describe your business. Maybe include your company’s tag line.

Attach professional business cards to any written correspondence between you and a current or prospective client. Having a business card handy will increase the odds they’ll think of you when thinking of the service you offer.

Give more information than the usual name, address, and phone number.

Use your biz cards as note cards… If someone needs your home address, and your biz is a home biz, hand them your biz card. Or write your home address on the back of your biz card. The same goes for your telephone no. This gives another person a reason to have your biz card.
